GROUP HOME MANAGER - Morganville Everas Community Services, Inc. is looking for professional, compassionate people who are enthusiastic about making a positive difference in the lives of the people we support and throughout our organization. We have openings for the Group Home Manager position in the Monmouth County New Jersey Region where our programs are located in Morganville, Eatontown, Howell, Spotswood, Monmouth, and Millstone. As a manager you would be responsible for one of the Group Homes within this region.
Job Description:
A Group Home Manager supervises a residential program for adult men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as complex medical and behavioral support needs. They work as a part of a team of professionals, which include; residential specialists, assistant managers, our agency's team of managers, the regional coordinator, and the residential director. Group Home Managers uphold Everas standards by ensuring that the agency's mission and vision are demonstrated through high quality programs that are designed to promote independence and continued well being for the men and women who reside in our residential homes. Duties include but are not limited to:
Ensuring quality services are provided to the individuals who reside in the group home Operate the group home in manner that is within compliance with NJ State Licensing and Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) requirements and regulations Supervise staff Schedule staff for any vacant shift openings IHP planning and implementation Maintain daily, monthly, and annual required documentation (must be comfortable with electronic documentation systems) Involvement in client's medical support needs, these responsibilities include; scheduling and attending medical appointments, documentation, working with the pharmacy for medication orders Coordinate, prepare, and attend; agency meetings, ALA meetings, IHP meetings, staff supervisions, staff meetings, and licensing inspections Overall program management All manager positions involve hands on work that requires you to assist with all areas including personal hygiene, medication administration, daily household chores and support in the community. Previous work experience in the field or a closely related field required. The Group Home Manager position is Full Time, must be able to work a flexible full time schedule including; evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Must be able to be on call. Everas provides specialized, paid training for all employees in the Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) Certifications and agency specific training's to ensure that each team member has the tools needed to perform responsibilities. Employees must be able to complete training requirements within the specified time frames. All training's are held at our main office in Somerset. Position Requirements Minimum Requirements:
Experience in Department of Developmental Disabilities licensed programs, preferably as a manager or assistant manager Must demonstrate knowledge of State Licensing and DDD regulations Must have valid driver's license & good driving record Minimum of high school diploma; some college preferred Strong organizational & follow-up skills Strong interpersonal & professional communication skills Must be a team player A commitment to the ongoing relationship with the individuals you are serving Must be able to work a flexible full time schedule, including evenings and some weekends Must be able to be on call

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
