Line Cook

Job Description

We are a family owned business that has been around for 20 years. We were voted the restaurant of the week by Bergen County in February 2018 and we still strive everyday to get better.

We are in need of a line cook that works well under pressure in a fast paced kitchen that cares about his craft. This cook needs to be able to delivery quality food in a timely manner and be able to multitask within the kitchen.

Our employees are very loyal because we treat them like family. Our longest tenured cook has been around 15 years and will help train and on board the new cook. Prior experience would be best, but we would also be willing to take the time to train someone that is willing to take on the challenge!

We are an Italian Restaurant, so having basic knowledge of Italian dishes is a plus. You will start off making pasta dishes and chicken Parmesan until you get comfortable cooking other foods.

There is plenty of opportunity for growth within the company as long as you prove yourself and can consistently prove to be a hard worker. We need someone who is going to be dedicated and who will show up to work on time everyday.

Culinary experience is not mandatory but preferred.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
